London Town.

I'm falling behind on my weekly blog after just one entry. Terrible! But I have an excuse, I was away. In London to be exact. Some photos of my ramblings about there further down in the blog.

Called to National Portrait Gallery and saw The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Exhibition, which was really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really good. For obvious reasons I was unable to take photos here, but go to http://www.npg.org.uk:8080/photoprize/site09/index2.php , and you'll get the jist of it.

The Great Court of British Museum, designed by Norman Foster. Unfortunately, on the day I was there, the sky overhead was overcast, so the shadows created by the roof mullions under direct sunlight were not apparent. However, the diffused light created by both the cloud cover and the roof fabric caused a totally even light with a slightly green tint throughout the entire court. Had lunch there and took it all in. Very impressive.

Not too sure where I took this, 'cept it was on a side street.

While walking along the canal from Little Venice to Camden, the gods smiled on me and sent beautiful rays of light for the hour coming up to dusk. The Golden Hour.

Street Art by Space Invaders. I have a few photos, taken a couple of years back, of his work in New York also. Must dig them out and post up. http://www.space-invaders.com/sominv.html

Coming into Camden I encountered what the news calls "youths". We chatted for a few minutes, they posed for a photo, a policeman appeared and they ran away. End of story!
